The journey began for Marilynn in a humble home in Canada. She began her journey with Jesus when she was young and continued on through most of her life. Marilynn has gotten off track sometimes, but God always got her going again.

Marilynn loves music (especially piano music), traveling, writing, and God; hence, expect her to write about her travels physically and spiritually, especially spiritually since that is what has eternal significance.
Some of the major milestones along the way were getting married to her crazy husband and together they had two children. Parenting was a favorite time of Marilynn’s journey. She enjoyed playing with them, going to their games, listening to their stories, and being a part of their journey. Those children got married and gave Marilynn five grandchildren to repeat the process again. Two of those grandchildren have gotten married and are in the process of giving Marilynn great-grandchildren. And life goes on….
During the journey of life, Marilynn taught music in the public school and then moved on to the love of her journey, directing a preschool. Marilynn learned so much from these little preschoolers as she tried to help them get a good start on their journey of life.
The time came for Marilynn to take her next step to retirement. This gave her the time to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a writer. Writing allows Marilynn to help even more people on their journey of life. Marilynn’s goal is for her readers to become more like Christ and reflect His love in all they do.
Marilynn is developing and becoming more like Christ one day at a time. One day, when we reach heaven, the journey will be complete and she will be the beautiful person God had in mind all the time. On this site, Marilynn is sharing her learning points along the way, each one another step to reflecting God’s love.
God began His formation of Marilynn before the foundations of this world. The Apostle Paul tells us, “He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before Him…to the praise of His glorious grace…” (Ephesians 1:4-6 ESV). And He will continue to do so until the day of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:6 ESV).
It is an adventure to see how God leads us down unexpected paths and brings new and challenging experiences and opportunities our way to form us into the people he wants us to be.
Research has shown that it is a woman in their lives who had the most significant influence on them (see the book Woman to Woman by Eugenia Price).
