Christmas Hope in the Midst of Conflict

From Bethlehem to the Nations: SAT-7 Shares Christ’s Birth

Christmas is a season of light, joy, and celebration, but for many across the Middle East and North Africa, it is also a season shadowed by conflict, displacement, and poverty. In the midst of these realities, SAT-7 is faithfully broadcasting the Good News of Christ’s birth in ways that meet people where they are, offering hope and reminding them that they are not forgotten.

Special Christmas Programming This year, SAT-7 is producing and airing a wide variety of Christmas programs across its Arabic, Turkish, and Persian channels. Viewers can watch live church services—including one from Bethlehem itself—alongside concerts, dramas, devotional programs, and children’s shows that teach the meaning of Christmas. SAT-7 KIDS will feature programs like Luca Super Hero and Christmas Passion, helping children discover God’s love in ways they can understand.

SAT-7 also shares stories of giving, highlighting how gifts, Bibles, and educational materials are delivered to children in orphanages, families in need, and isolated communities. Their programming highlights cultural testimonies of faith and service, showcasing how believers continue to share joy despite hardship.

Community and Connection Beyond broadcasts: SAT-7 is building connections and fostering a sense of belonging. Interactive projects, such as the Silent Night Christmas Challenge, invite schools and churches worldwide to submit versions of the beloved hymn, weaving them together into a powerful, multi-lingual testimony of unity.

How You Can Partner: As your church celebrates the birth of Christ this year, please remember SAT-7 in your prayers. Pray for their staff and broadcasters, for the many viewers who tune in secretly or in isolation, and for the light of Christ to pierce the darkness of this region. May our prayers and support strengthen this vital ministry as it proclaims the hope of Emmanuel, God with us.

Hello,

I’m Marilynn

God knew me before the world was even created. He planned for me and created me in my mother’s womb. He caused many experiences, past and present, to weave into my life. I can trace my roots as far back as the Mennonites in the Reformation. This rich history makes me the person I am today. And God is still working on me. He will not give up teaching me new things until I see Him in glory.

I invite you to join me on this journey of development.
